Her Grandchildren Saved By An Angel Resembling Her Father
Kimberly Hortz shared this incredible miracle story with me in the comment section of my miracle story video. During a house fire that threatened her grandchildren’s lives, an angel resembling her father with wings as tall as the ceiling saved them. Her story has been edited for grammar.
Her initial comment was:
Two angels came to save my daughter and her two sons from a fire. God is real, and so is Jesus. Psalm 34-7 said it best.
I asked her to tell me the full story and this is what she said:
Well, the night it happened, my daughter was putting my grandsons to bed, and they were 2 and 3 years old. The 3-year-old told her momma a man came into the room and told her not to sleep there. She allowed him to sleep on the couch. The man returned, and this time he had a gold pocket watch. He told my grandson in 5 minutes, this room was going to catch fire, a terminal had gone bad. When the time had elapsed, he slammed a toy box lid down, and it awoke my daughter. She and her husband ran to the room where the child was sleeping. They opened the door and the fire got worse. She hopped down on her hands and knees and crawled in. My grandson could see from the couch that there were two men over the back of her. The flooring was burning, and she got burnt a golf ball-sized burn. As she was burned the man on the back hollered out ouch he could feel her burn. She saved the baby. The firemen called her a hero. Later, my grandson told her this message. Tell Amber that I love her very much. To the rest of the world, I was called Donnie but to her, I was called Papa. The grandson saw my dad’s picture on the refrigerator and said that was the man who came that night he had a lot younger face, but he had wings as tall as the ceiling. Psalm 34-7 says God has his Angels encamped around his believers to rescue them. Later, I went back to see him and he said Mimi Papa came to see me. He said he would always be with me. I had a question: what does that mean? He told me I was a peacemaker. Never forget God loves us enough to send his only begotten son to die for us. Whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3-16.
