She Experienced The Afterlife During An NDE
Darlene Brooks Moseley shared her miracle story with me via a comment on my miracle story video ad on Facebook. She had a near-death experience (NDE) during an operation where she experienced the afterlife. Read her incredible story below.
I had my baby girl just three months ago and went back in to have my tubes cut and tied, and I woke up in the ICU. I should have been on my way home, but the hospital over-drugged me during surgery. When I woke up, I didn’t know what had happened. I was just confused and couldn’t talk with a tube in my throat. Mom was with me, and Dad was sitting outside the door. He had turned his chair so he could see me every time the door swung open, just enough time for me to see him standing or reaching out to me. But as I got the tubes off and out, I was told how lucky I was. I had been out and had died during a five-hour ordeal.
I started remembering things as time went on, but I was not sure of what happened, putting pieces together. I remember appearing on a square sheet of glass, floating in a beautiful place, blue skies with clouds all around, no definite lines to separate anything, but the fog was all around, haze-like. On the sheet of glass floating, I was standing on one corner, and to either side of me to the next corner was nothing, but from those corners to the corner directly in front of me were people standing like in stadium benches, and they were talking to me. Taking turns and asking questions, giving me the time to answer each person, then the next person took a turn. But I couldn’t see faces nor see movements of them talking. I was able to locate the one talking to me. After a while, I answered a question with, “I can’t go with you. You know I just had a baby and she’s only three months old. She needs me and I need her.” This answer seemed to satisfy them. They all looked at each other and talked to each other, and the one said, “That’s what we wanted to hear. You can go back.” It all disappeared.
After all the years from June 1979, still I do not know what or why.
Then in 2015 I had not felt good. I kept telling doctors, “I don’t know what is wrong, I’m just not feeling good.” Well, after about a year, around Christmas, my daughter called and asked if I would watch my granddaughter for about an hour. She was up in age, so she was old enough to kind of watch her own self. After she got there, my other daughter called and asked if I could meet her to exchange the clothes I bought her daughter for Christmas. I told her I didn’t feel good, to do it another time or go by herself. That didn’t work, because my only two daughters are so jealous of each other. So here we go to the mall.
As we get there, my daughter called and said, “I am ready to pick baby girl up. Where are y’all?” Well, meet us at the mall. She did, and I said again, “Let’s go eat, I will pay, I don’t feel good.” We ordered, I paid, and I told the girls to enjoy it, I am going home.
As I put my to-go plate in the fridge, I stood and said, “God, what is wrong with me?” A voice and a breath over my shoulder said, “You’re having a heart attack.”
“What? I am having a heart attack?”
“Yes, you’re having a heart attack.”
I closed the fridge and got in the car headed to the hospital. I called my daughter and said, “I think I am having a heart attack. I am headed to the hospital, meet me.” But I didn’t want to go to that hospital, and I was not sure if I could make it to the one I wanted to go to. I told her to hold on. I put the phone in my lap and said, “God, what do I need to do?”
I don’t know if I passed out sitting on the side of the ER drive, but I could hear my daughter yelling, “Mom, Mom, answer me. Mom.” I picked up the phone and said, “This hospital! I can’t make it to the other one.”
I went in the ER doors, and God made a way for me! I walked in and said, “I think I am having a heart attack.” They put a chair under me and off to the back we went. From then on, I was under the care of the hospital for six days. Yes, blockage, 90%.
God is my keeper, and he proved it to me. He loves me enough to let me stay with my family for a while longer. Understanding I am a child of God.
